CSU-PUEBLO STUDENTS TO TESTIFY FOR HOUSE BILL #10-1206 CONCERNING THE GRANTING OF VOTING RIGHTS TO STUDENT MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM.
Testimony will take place tomorrow, February 25th, 2010 at 1:30p.m.

CSU-Pueblo Associated Students' Government President Steve Titus and Assistant Director of the CSU-Pueblo Higher Education Leadership Project (HELP) Sara Crowe will testify concerning House Bill #10-1206.
President Steve Titus and Assistant Director Sara Crowe plan to testify in favor of student voting rights on the CSU systems Board of Governors. Currently there are 13 members including nine voting members and four non-voting members. The faculty and student representatives’ members from both CSU-Pueblo and CSU-Fort Collins are non-voting. Titus and Crowe are to testify that student’s (the primary Shareholder in the CSU-System) voices should be heard on the board in order to guarantee transparency and integrity in all Board of Governors actions.
